Soap and juice collide at the crossroads of justice and social media in this David and Goliath story of a small business owner taking on a major corporation in a bid to protect her company’s rights. The owner of Olivia’s Oasis, soap and skincare company, received a cease and desist letter from food giant Lassonde Inc, purveyors of Oasis juice. This began a seven year legal battle that landed them in the Superior and Appeals Court. Then social media made the final ruling in less than 24 hours.
