A young girl finds herself entranced by a beam of light moving through her home and tries to capture it in a jar, only to realize that there are things she loves that she cannot posses.
Guy Pooles: Co-Producer, Co-Writer, Director
Guy was born and raised in England, where he studied Acting and Photography before receiving BA from Royal Holloway, University of London with a focus in Screenwriting and Directing Screen Fiction. After working in England as a cinematographer, whilst also writing & directing his own short films, Guy moved to Los Angeles to study cinematography at the American Film Institute Conservatory. Here he earned a MFA in the discipline, and his graduate thesis film Dirty Laundry went on to become a Region 1 Finalist for the 41st Student Academy Awards and earned Guy an ASC Student Heritage Award Nomination.
His latest short film The Light and the Little Girl marks his directorial debut in the United States.

Jih-E Peng is a cinematographer based in the US. Selected credits include FINO ALL’ULTIMO MINUTO (Women’s Independent Film Festival (Best Screenplay, Best Actor, Award of Merit), LA Femme Film Festival Official Selection, Fano International Film Festival (Special Jury Award), Finalist at the USA Film Festival), the short LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE in the upcoming anthology feature ABOUT ABIGAIL, and the web series FAMILY GATHERING, starring Sharon Omi, Ken Narasaki, and Keiko Agena. She graduated from the American Film Institute’s MFA program in cinematography and works between Los Angeles and New York.
