The ‘My Life in the City’ project emerged when Professor Ann Fudge Schormans realized that there was a severe lack of research into what adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) do on a day-to-day basis in the city that they live. As such, Ann worked with a group of adults with IDD using qualitative interviews, city walks, and dramatic arts based methods to explore what it was like to be a person with an IDD in Toronto. This film was created in collaboration with researchers and participants of the study to empower the group as they present their findings.

Directed by Adam Goldhammer
