Heidi Carmichael: Actor, Producer, Writer
For Heidi, her love of the arts and story telling, started at an early age. At secondary school, she excelled in Theatre Studies and Music and realized that performing was something she wanted to pursue further. As a trained actress, her first professional job was in the ensemble for The King and I, at the Royal Albert Hall. From there, she went to star in a variety of theatre and short films to develop her acting range.
In 2010, she undertook additional training whilst in LA, with Howard Fine and Amy Lyndon, and Heidi has begun to star in feature films.
Heidi started writing in 2011, when she realized it’s cathartic values. She has a particular love for writing comedy, which she hopes to cultivate in her projects. “Crumbs” is the first short that Heidi has written, and she is currently writing a feature, due to start production in 2014.
