In spring 2016, Baltimore city high school students from Wide Angle Youth Media’s Mentoring Video Project decided to make a video highlighting the positive side of Baltimore and breaking negative stereotypes of their city.

Through media arts education, Wide Angle Youth Media cultivates and amplifies the voices of Baltimore youth to engage audiences across generational, cultural, and social divides. Our programs inspire creativity and instill confidence in young people, empowering them with skills to navigate school, career, and life. Baltimore Through Our Eyes was created by high school students in Wide Angle’s high school program, The Mentoring Video Project.
